Can Saka

Can Saka is a music producer, composer and sound designer currently based in Istanbul Turkey. Being in love with music, he was obsessed with music technologies and he played guitar through all his teenage years. After high school, he enrolled in the prestigious Berklee College of Music under scholarship and started his undergraduate studies there to master his craft. During his academic career in Berklee he dual majored in “Contemporary Writing and Music Production” and “Jazz Composition”, minored in “Music Production for New Media and Advertisement” and received several awards for his achievements as a student. After getting his degree from Berklee College of Music he was offered a job as an in-house composer from the Turkey’s most prestigious music production company Jinglehouse, and started making music for TV industry. He composed-produced music for countless commercials, advertisements and Turkey’s biggest feature film projects. During this time he also constructed a solo career and his music and sound work has given life to several award-winning independent films, documentaries, mapping implementations, and numerous television series as he continues collaborating with composers/directors/producers all over the world.
